Who is responsible
This policy explains how bedsurehomen handles personal information for bedsurehomen.shop. Direct privacy requests, questions and complaints to our store management at support@bedsurehomen.shop, using “Privacy” in the subject line.
Information and purposes
When you browse, place an order or contact us, we may collect contact details, delivery and billing addresses, order information, correspondence and technical information such as IP address, browser data and essential cookie identifiers. We use information to operate the store, process and deliver orders, manage returns, answer questions, prevent fraud, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Payment details are processed through the payment services available in Shopify checkout; do not send full payment-card information to our support email.
Consent and choices
We request consent where required and explain additional purposes at collection. Information needed to fulfil an order is used for that purpose. Optional marketing consent is separate from buying. You may withdraw optional consent by contacting us or using an unsubscribe link; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed or records we must retain. Restricting essential information may prevent us from completing a requested service.
Cookies and service providers
Essential cookies support the cart, checkout, security and your preferences. Where required, optional tracking is subject to the available privacy choices. Browser settings can manage cookies, although disabling essential cookies may affect shopping. Shopify hosts our store. We share necessary information with providers involved in payment processing, delivery, hosting, security and customer support, and with authorities when lawfully required.
Service providers may process information outside your province or outside Canada, where local laws may allow access by public authorities. Contact us for information about relevant providers and safeguards. We limit disclosure to the purposes described or other lawful purposes and do not sell customer mailing lists.
Retention and safeguards
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes collected, accounting and legal requirements, dispute resolution and fraud prevention. It is then deleted or de-identified as appropriate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information. No transmission or storage system is completely risk-free.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to your personal information, ask for corrections, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We respond within the deadlines required by the law applicable to your request and explain any lawful restriction. Other rights, including deletion or portability where applicable, are handled under the relevant law.
Canadian privacy laws may include PIPEDA and applicable provincial private-sector privacy laws, depending on the activities and information involved. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial privacy regulator. Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia have provincial privacy regulators.
Marketing and updates
Where we send marketing messages, we use valid consent, identify the sender and include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribe requests are implemented within 10 business days. Transactional order messages are separate from marketing. Material policy changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
These store policies do not exclude or restrict any non-waivable consumer rights, legal warranties, cancellation rights or remedies under applicable Canadian federal, provincial or territorial law. Where a mandatory rule provides greater protection, that rule applies.
